My blogging fell apart in 2013. I was doing well and reached a goal of 10,000 visitors in a month. Then it fell apart. I spent a lot of time trying to learn Cisco products, and I felt that I did to have anything interesting to add to the internets – it was stuff that all Cisco people already know.

And, I got lazy.

Goals for 2014:
My goals for this year are about the same: 8 posts per month (two per week). I also want to get my Microsoft Certification updated to the new MCSE track.

I missed my blogging goal of 2-per-week/104 for the year. I ended up 98 posts. Same goal for this year.
I also missed 10,000 in a month. I was on track at the beginning of December, but then I had a big drop during the holidays.

My 2013 goals are 2 posts per week/104 per year, as I said above. And 15,000 visitors a month. 15k may be out of my reach, but I would love it!

I remember thinking, when I hit 2000 visitors in a month, I will never make 3000!

I had a goal last year, a goal of blogging 2 times a week for the entire year. I ended up with 116 posts. A couple of those posts were a few dates late, so I did not meet my exact goal of 2 times week, but I always managed 4 posts in every two weeks. My year end results are 16,368 visits and 14,067 unique visitors. Fun stuff.  I know is it no much, but I see a upward trent in the graph below! Wonder where I will be next year?

I hope my tech ramblings are useful to the 14,067 people that visited my site.

September and October we light. Backup up at 2000 for November! I better get busy if I ever want to hit 3000!
